Product Manager / Backend Team (f/m/d)

As part of our product management team, you will transform our product vision into excellent software for our customers. You will collaborate closely with customers, management and our development teams to enhance and further develop our product portfolio.

Your future Role

  • As our Product Owner for our "Platform & Backend" development team, you will develop innovative features and solutions to enhance our software further.
  • You will influence the product strategy of our backend solutions and APIs, with a central focus on user acceptance and current trends.
  • Support our product management team with your research skills to gain valuable insights about our competitors in the market.
  • Create user stories and lead them through the implementation process until they go live.
  • You collaborate closely with our Dev Teams in replenishment meetings, reviews and retrospectives to ensure agreed-upon timelines.
 

Your Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Product Owner or in product management.
  • Completed degree in Business Informatics, Information Management, or related field.
  • You have an understanding of the fundamental system architecture of state-of-the-art products, particularly in the interaction between front-end and back-end components.
  • Experience with backend technologies (e.g., PHP) and APIs.
  • You generate innovative ideas and are passionate to find solutions for technical challenges.
  • Independent, self-managed work style with a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a focus on customer and solution orientation.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English language proficiency.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum.

For this role, we provide a minimum gross annual salary of € 52,136 (ST1 Regelstufe) in accordance with our IT collective agreement. This applies to a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week and requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience as a Product Owner. 

 

 Individual qualifications and experience relevant to the open position will be considered for the salary, and there is a clear willingness to overpay.
