System Integration Engineer (f/m/d)

Your future Role

  • Design, implement, and maintain interfaces, including necessary integration processes, to integrate TimeTac into our customers’ existing system landscapes
  • Further develop our internal integration framework “TimeTac Connect”
  • Define and implement custom configurations to meet specific customer requirements
  • Optimize and continuously enhance our existing interfaces
  • If needed provide consulting services to our customers from the pre-sales phase through requirements analysis to successful implementation in the post-sales phase
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for our development processes in Confluence
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Care, Customer Success, Product Management, and Backend teams as part of customer projects and product developments
  • In this role, you will be part of the integration team and report to our Team Lead Integrations
 

Your Skills

  • Ongoing or completed studies in computer science, (technical) mathematics, physics, software engineering, or a related field
  • At least one year of professional experience, ideally with focus on interface development
  • Strong programming skills, e.g., in PHP or Python, and experience with database systems such as MySQL
  • Proficient in working with REST APIs
  • Strong analytical skills, mathematical understanding, and a structured approach to project implementation
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for both teamwork and customer collaboration
  • Very good English skills and good German skills (at least level B2) in spoken and written form

Without relevant professional experience, we offer a minimum salary of € 42.224,- gross per annum (ST1, Entry-Level) based on a full-time role and on the IT collective agreement. Individual qualifications and experience relevant to the open position will be considered for the salary, and there is a clear willingness to overpay.
