The Product Manager is a purposeful role responsible for driving product initiatives by ensuring that new features align with business objectives, technical feasibility, and customer needs. By collaborating closely with Product Owners, UI/UX designers, and development teams, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering impactful product enhancements.

Your future Role

  • Create new features and lead them through the implementation process in close collaboration with the Product Owners until they go live.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform software improvements and drive product innovation.
  • Support our product management team with your research skills to gain valuable insights about our competitors in the market.
  • Define and refine product requirements, ensuring clear specifications and alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Product Owners, development teams, and other departments to manage dependencies and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Influence the overall product direction, focusing on user adoption and emerging trends.
  • Communicate progress and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • In this role, you will be part of the product team and report to our Head of Product Management.
 

Your Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in an agile software development environment.
  • Completed studies in Software Development, Business Informatics, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into meaningful product features.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating competitors, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Skilled in gathering and communicating complex requirements with clarity to both stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

The stated position is available for full-time employment (38,5h/week).

 

We offer a minimum salary of € 53.802 gross per year (ST1, Regelstufe) with at least three years of relevant experience in Product Management of software based on the IT collective agreement. Considerable over-payment is possible for candidates with relevant professional experience and qualifications.
