UX/UI Designer (f/m/d)

Your future Role

  • Design and create unique, intuitive user interfaces for our SaaS software.
  • Lead usability studies to evaluate the user-friendliness of our products and provide new insights to the product team.
  • Create personas and empathy maps to develop a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of our users.
  • Develop prototypes for new user interfaces to qualitatively test and improve design concepts before they are integrated into development.
  • Use storyboards to visualize interaction sequences and processes within our products, to highlight potential challenges and opportunities.
  • You have a significant role from idea generation to the development of a product or service strategy.
  • Bring your excellent understanding of common web technologies and UI guidelines into our development process.
  • You can justify your design decisions within the teams and actively promote them during the development process.
 

Your Skills

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design for software applications, ideally in SaaS.
  • Successful completion of a degree or education, such as in fields like information design, digital media, or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of usability principles and experience with user research and testing.
  • A compelling portfolio and relevant work experience with various design methods (e.g., Design Sprints), as well as usability and accessibility.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software.
  • Clear communication in written and spoken form – in fluent German and English.

For this role, we provide a minimum gross annual salary of €52,136 (ST1 Regelstufe) in accordance with our IT collective agreement. This applies to a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week.

 

 Individual qualifications and experience relevant to the open position will be considered for the salary, and there is a clear willingness to overpay.
