Your future Role

Quality Assurance & Software Testing

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for new feature releases on Android and iOS platforms.
Document and track software defects using Jira, analyse device and Kibana logs, and collaborate closely with development teams to facilitate timely bug resolution.
Conduct backend validation and data integrity checks by performing database queries and cross-referencing information.
Utilise tools such as Postman to verify API functionality and use networking software to diagnose and help resolve connectivity issues.
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end release process for mobile applications on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Product Ownership

Serve as Product Owner for the agile mobile application team, providing clear direction and leadership.
Define and communicate the product vision, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Develop detailed user stories, establish acceptance criteria, and evaluate product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to solicit feedback, align priorities, and drive continuous product improvement.
Actively participate in all relevant agile meetings, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

Your Skills

You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience testing iOS and Android applications, and are confident in conducting tests independently.
Programming skills in JavaScript for automation and white-box testing is essential (we are using the Detox framework)
Proven experience testing REST APIs.
Ideally, you possess previous experience as a Product Owner or in product management. Good understanding of agile methodologies (Kanban); experience with Jira is a plus.
Confidence across platforms: Android, iOS and macOS.
Familiarity with MySQL at a basic level.
Strong customer focus, with a deep appreciation for testing and quality assurance.
You are confident in making assertive decisions and organizing resources.
Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken. Additional German skills are nice-to-have.
As part of the Product Management team, you will report directly to our Head of Product Management.

We offer a minimum salary of € 44.500 gross per year (ST1, Einstiegsstufe) without relevant experience based on the IT collective agreement. Considerable over-payment is possible for candidates with relevant professional experience and qualifications.
