UX/UI Designer (f/m/d)
Bring your talent for UX/UI design to a growing SaaS company that’s rethinking time tracking with a passion for great design.
At TimeTac, you shape how thousands of people record, organize, and make the most of their time!
Your future Role
Design and create unique, intuitive user interfaces for our SaaS software.
Develop prototypes for new user interfaces to qualitatively test and improve design concepts before they are integrated into development.
Improve our Figma design library and guidelines across mobile, desktop and web.
Use storyboards to visualize interaction sequences and processes within our products, to highlight potential challenges and opportunities.
Close collaboration with the development teams throughout the development process, ensuring a shared understanding of web design principles and goals.
Play a key role and be part of new product features. Starting from idea generation until delivery to our customers.
Bring your excellent understanding of common web technologies and UI guidelines into our development process.
Justify your design decisions within the team and actively promote them during the development process.
Your Skills
At least 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design for software applications, ideally in SaaS.
Successful completion of a degree or education, such as in information design, digital media, or a related field.
Excellent knowledge of usability principles and experience with user research and testing.
A compelling portfolio and relevant work experience with various design methods (e.g., Design Sprints), as well as usability and accessibility.
Expert in Figma (or similar tools), with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive interfaces across mobile, desktop, and web.
Proficiency in prototyping (Figma, Framer or similar) and know how to validate interactions with real users.
Skilled in writing clear, concise documentation and rationale that both designers and engineers rely on.
Ability to communicate effectively both asynchronously and synchronously, proactively share updates, and give & receive feedback constructively.
Clear communication in written and spoken form. Fluent English is a must. German skills are a plus.

We welcome applicants of any gender and origin to become part of the success story of our highly motivated team.
For this role, we provide a minimum gross annual salary of €53,802 (ST1 Regelstufe) in accordance with our IT collective agreement. This applies to a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week.
Individual qualifications and experience relevant to the open position will be considered for the salary, and there is a clear willingness to overpay.
